Fabricator required to work in a FRP (fibreglass) workshop producing structures from FRP I-beams, C-sections and various other profiles. Must be a good communicator, work well in a team, competent with figures and measurements and take pride in their work. Wage level based on ability.

We are a local manufacturer producing GRP/FRP structures. We are looking for a design engineer on a consultant basis or graduate for potentially full time employment.
Requirements as follows....
• Graduate in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Able to undertake design and structural analysis of simple GRP structures including: access platforms/gantries, stairs and ladders, railway platforms, small footbridges etc.
• Structural analysis is currently all carried out by hand, however, there would be the opportunity in the future for the right candidate to develop suitable computer software to assist with analysis and possibly enabling more complex structures to be engineered.
• Prepare structural calculations as required by clients.
• Provide engineering advice to colleagues and clients.
• This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to develop their role within a dynamic company in a rapidly growing market place.
A working knowledge in CAD design a definate advantage.
