We’ve been refining this scheme to keep the conservation officer fully satisfied. This application seeks full planning permission for the demolition of the existing building and the er****on of a high quality mixed use scheme comprising of 4 retail units at ground floor level and 16 residential flats above, together with all associated development.

The proposal has been designed to make efficient use of the site, enhance the vitality of the local centre, and deliver a sustainable mix of commercial and residential uses.

The layout and height have been carefully considered to integrate with the surrounding, while improving the overall streetscape and attractive frontages at ground floor level. The residential units have been arranged to provide good levels of amenity, natural light, and privacy for future occupants.

The development represents a significant opportunity to regenerate the site, support local economic activity and contribute to local housing needs.

Nothing like being patient!

After five years in the making (2020 seems like a life time ago) Doncaster is finally set to see a transformation as planning permission has been finally granted for the development of 22 new build dwellings complete with landscaping, amenity spaces, and parking facilities. The project, which follows the demolition of the former NHS clinic, represents a significant milestone for the community, bringing fresh opportunities for housing and revitalisation to the area.

It’s a long-awaited boost that promises to enhance local life in the heart of Doncaster and there’s a real sense of excitement as residents look forward to watching this vision unfold.
