What’s the one step on a job you never let anyone rush? 👇⚡

Securing 11kV terminations onto the bushings and torquing them to the switchgear manufacturer’s specifications.

Flexible insulating boots are then installed, leaving approximately a 10mm gap at the rear while removing all trapped air inside. The base of the boot must be fully seated correctly to keep it secure and prevent movement or slippage over time.

Big thanks to the team at MB Vehicle Services for the outstanding service.

About four weeks ago, my turbo failed while I was down near London. It took a couple of weeks before I could get the van recovered and repaired by a local garage. Unfortunately, when I got it back from repair, it just didn’t feel right and it turned out the new turbo hadn’t actually been fixed properly.

Thankfully, MB Vehicle Solutions were able to quickly diagnose the problem and get everything sorted at short notice. Absolute lifesavers.

Really appreciate you getting me back on the road and keeping me grafting!
