Hi Everyone,

Moving into 2026, I'll be reducing the number of bathroom installations and general refurbishments I take on, so I can focus fully on:

Gas, Oil Fired and Electric boiler installation, service and repair.

I am a registered Engineer with Gas Safe 965122
OFTEC 711944

I am an accredited Installer G1 for GRANT UK and have completed extensive training with Worcester Bosch and BAXI.

This shift allows me to continue building a strong foundation of expertise in these areas, with a clear long term goal of moving into renewable energy heating systems.

By 2027, I will be FGAS registered and endorsed for the installation, servicing, and repair of all aspects of Heat Pumps and Air Conditioning, including refridgeration gas application and fault diagnosis.

This leak in a flat complex on Holborough Lakes was hard to find. The ensuite and bathroom were back to back with the damage to the flat below being under the bathroom. I found the leak in the ensuite. I used a listening device with limited success as the recess is filled with glass insulation. I heard some obscure vibrations and acted on it. I didn't land directly on the leak, but found soaking wet insulation that led me to a transition coupling that had a pin hole in it. I repaired this immediately and went back some time after to resupport and reconstruct the tiling.

I dealt with a leak on Holborough Lakes that was very hard to find. After I exhausted every avenue, I made the decision to remove the shower enclosure frame, and there it was. The enclosure had been fitted prior to the base/tile gap being sealed with silicone.
