Southeast Essex Plastering Training Barn – Now Launching

We are excited to announce our very first hands on plastering and rendering training dates at the Training Barn.

Join us for a 3 day practical experience from 1st to 3rd April, running daily from 9.30am to 3.30pm.

This is not a classroom or test based course. There are no exams and no pressure. This is all about getting stuck in, learning real skills and building confidence.
Whether you are a young person exploring a new career path or someone who loves DIY and wants to save money on hiring trades, this is the perfect opportunity to learn a skill that will genuinely save you a fortune.

Across the 3 days you will learn the foundations of plastering and rendering in a relaxed and supportive environment. You will be guided step by step by professionals with over 30 years of experience, giving you real knowledge you can actually use.
By the end of the course you will walk away feeling confident enough to take on your own projects.
Pricing
£155 per day per person

A fun and friendly training environment at the Training Barn
Toilet facilities on site
Light refreshments including hot drinks provided

Please bring your own lunch
All tools will be provided on the day. Protective items such as goggles, masks and gloves will be provided for the day.

Opening the doors March 2026

Southeast Essex Plastering has over 40 years of hands-on plastering experience, and we are now opening the doors to our Training Barn.
We are in the early stages of this new venture and would genuinely love to get a feel for who would like to come along and learn.

This is not an NVQ and not a certificated course. What it is is practical, real-world plastering skills taught by people who have spent decades on the tools. You learn by doing, asking questions, making mistakes, and building real confidence.

The training is ideal for school leavers or young people who want to focus their energy on something practical that can open career doors, without the pressure of classrooms or traditional routes.

It is also perfect for DIYers and renovators. If you are mid-project and wondering why you are paying someone else huge money to plaster walls or ceilings, this is your chance to learn the skills and do it yourself.

No pressure, no jargon, just honest learning in a friendly, supportive space. Whether you want to save money, learn something new, or explore where a practical trade could take you, we would love to hear from you.
