There are worse places to be working, on the banks of the Cam today finishing a decking.
Finished in Cupronal anti-slip decking paint a lovely shade called silver birch

Returning to an older property with a repaired water leak.
Now that everything was dry, the lining paper on the ceiling had come away leaving mould and mildew. The coving had fallen off and there were numerous cracks and stains to the wall.
It was a beautiful day for drying and with two large fans to speed up the various processes, l treated all the mould and Zinsser sealed the ceiling and the walls, hung the new, blown vinyl paper, fixed the coving in place and carried out some repairs in the clients kitchen while waiting for the hall to dry.
A quick cup of tea and a banana 🍌
Everything was by now completely dry and cured, so out with the rollers and brushes.
Two coats of Crown white matt to the coving and ceiling and l finished the walls in a Tikkurila scrubbable paint to match the previous Dulux l'd put on back in 2017.
An intense 9 hours but worth the effort.
The end result was very pleasing and a very happy customer.
