A look back at a first for Dixon Construction, the pizza oven.

Not ones to turn down a challenge, this became one of the standout features on this Penkridge outdoor living project.

From the brickwork and oven installation to a very close inspection along the way 👀 it all came together nicely.

Happy to confirm, the oven produces pizzas in under 60 seconds!

Great feedback from a recent kitchen extension project in Stafford.

The clients remained living in the property throughout the build, so keeping things tidy, organised and practical was important from start to finish.

Lovely to hear the finished space is getting plenty of compliments.

New green oak porch, repointing and a proper farmhouse facelift completed in Penkridge.

A before, during and after look at this established farmhouse, including repointing, rebuilt steps, a new dwarf wall to support the porch and a handcrafted oak porch to complete the entrance.

The during photo shows the scale of the repointing work before everything came together in the finished result.

A good example of how the right updates can lift the front of an older property while keeping it in character.

UK heatwave incoming ☀️

This Penkridge outdoor space is definitely ready for it.

Large porcelain patio, built in pizza oven, outdoor fire, BBQ area and plenty of room to enjoy the garden properly.

Another patio taking shape in Penkridge.

Large porcelain slabs, multi level layout, steps at both ends and a tiled wall to finish it off.

A lot of prep work goes into getting the levels right. It's going to be a great outdoor space once finished and as we head into summer.

A great result on this recently completed two-storey side extension and single garage extension in Stone, Staffordshire.

The project included converting the existing garage into a new kitchen and open plan living space, creating a much larger and more practical area for everyday family life. Projects like this are a good reminder that it is not always necessary to move house when family needs change. In many cases, reworking and extending the space you already have can be a far better long term solution, allowing you to stay in the home and area you know while making it work much better for the way you live now.

It is always satisfying to see an existing property adapted properly so that the finished result feels like it has always been part of the house.

Another good project completed and a really nice finish all round.

This bathroom refurbishment turned out really well.

The existing room was stripped out and fully refurbished with wall-to-ceiling porcelain tiles, vinyl flooring and a new modern suite to create a clean, practical finished space.

Barn Conversion Staffordshire - Before & After

This barn in Stafford was completely stripped back and renovated, retaining its original features and charm throughout, both inside and out.

Our client asked us to manage the project from start to finish, handling planning, architects, design, and all building work to ensure the barn restoration was done properly and finished to a high standard.
