Simply Brickwork Ltd are devastated to hear about the injury of a very good friend and blue line brother Jamie Pattison during the Billingham Buccaneers last game! Jamie is an awesome lad and one hell of a hockey player!
We all wish a very speedy recovery and hope to see you back on the ice soon doing what you do best and dominating that blue line!
Get well soon brother! ππͺ
The Billingham Buccaneers would like to provide an update on the status of defenceman Jamie Pattison.
Jamie was involved in an accident in last night's game that resulted in a considerable delay to the game and the requirement of on-ice medical attention. He was transported to hospital where he remains this morning, with plans to undergo surgery on his ankle today. He is doing well, and is in his usual good spirits.
Jamie, the Buccaneers and the Billingham Stars Junior Ice Hockey Club would like to sincerely thank Clare Nertney, Nicci Wardell, Andy Dowson, IHUK linesman James Robson, Titans nurse Jamie Templar, as well as his teammates, the Sheffield Titans, the Billingham Forum staff and the NHS for their care, assistance and making sure he was well looked after.
This is a hard thing to see on the ice but when we have the support and the wellbeing of players and staff as our number one priority, this process becomes a little bit easier to deal with.
Jamie will hopefully make a full recovery and once again patrol the blue line for the Buccaneers. On behalf of us all and Jamie once again, thank you all very much.
