It’s great to see our operations director Craig Humphries, spend some time on site this week with our rescue team and see the operation in action.

The professionalism and preparation the team bring to every job says a lot about the standards being set across the business.

Having site visits like this are a good reminder of how much the company has developed over recent years.

What started as access support has grown into a successful multi-discipline industrial service offering, led by experienced people who understand the environments they’re working in.

A look at some of the work our Industrial & Access teams have been delivering across the UK 👏🏼

Over recent months, our teams have supported a range of major projects, each bringing different challenges, environments and technical requirements.

From continued progress on the Gigafactory project, recently shortlisted at the Construction News Awards for Health, Safety & Wellbeing Excellence, to complex access works at Gatwick Airport, specialist delivery on the Forth Bridge, and ongoing support across projects including Cummins Darlington Engine Plant, Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, and the Subcoal facility.

Every project is different, but our goals never change:

👉🏼 supporting programmes where reliability really counts

There’s a lot happening behind the scenes as we move further into the year, with more projects we’re looking forward to sharing soon.

Following the announcement around the separation of JMAC’s LinkedIn and Facebook presence, the next step is putting that structure into practice 🤝🏼

Going forward, content will now be split between two pages, JMAC Industrial & Access Group Ltd and JMAC Hire & Sales Ltd. This will give a clearer focus on each area of the business and ensuring the right work, people, and projects are shown in the right place.

JMAC Industrial & Access Group Ltd will now focus on the delivery side of the business - the projects, the people on site, and the capability behind industrial access and specialist services across complex environments.

Our aim is to make sure what is being delivered day-to-day is represented more clearly and consistently to our audiences.

This change also allows more space to highlight the teams behind the work properly, and to keep content closely aligned with what’s actually happening on site.

The direction of the business has become much clearer over the last few years 🔥

As the range of services across JMAC has grown, so has the amount of work we’re delivering across the UK’s industrial and access environments.

What’s made that possible is having the right people around us - experienced teams on site, trusted relationships with clients, and people across the business who care about doing the job to the highest standard.

There’s a lot of hard work behind the scenes in building something sustainable in this industry, and it’s been great to see how far the business has come.

Project Update | Cramlington Hospital 🏥

JMAC has been supporting works at Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital since early 2025 on behalf of Geoffrey Robinson Ltd, with the programme continuing through to 2027.

Working within a live healthcare environment requires careful coordination, controlled installation and solutions tailored to restricted access and complex building geometry.

A ringlock system scaffold was selected to meet programme demands, supported by AT-PAC Scaffolding, while temporary works designs were developed collaboratively with Creator Scaffold Designs and manufacturer specialists to ensure full compliance throughout.

Main scaffold elevations are enclosed with sheeting, with JMAC Universal Brick Guards integrated in areas where sheeting isn’t permitted - providing additional dropped-object protection around loading bays and operational zones.

Projects like this demonstrate the value of strong planning, collaboration and experienced teams delivering practical solutions in complex live environments.

A huge thank you to Aaron Kitson for his fantastic leadership on this project, making sure works were delivered to the highest standard throughout.
