Small area under floor heating job this week.
Client had slab cut out ready.

Levelled ground to depth, blinded with sand, reinstated dpc and fitted 100mm insulation.

Ufh pipe laid, filled/purged of air and left under pressure ready for screeding.

Ufh supplied by Plumbcity, Sudbury.

My Apprentice is off to college tomorrow for her first day, which is a long journey, 4 years in fact.

GFD Plumbing and Heating has now shut down for the festive period.

First outing this week, using my press gun, while doing this boiler change.

All water pipes were pressed, this eliminates implementing a hot work policy. This is a safer and quicker way. Also there are no soldering fumes to content with.

Boiler installed is a Main Eco Compact combination boiler with vertical flue, Magna clean, scale reducer and shock arrestor.

Replacement heat only boiler.
Update on heating/hot water controls.
