They show just how bad this Classic Mini really was before we got our hands on it. Rust, repairs, and plenty of hours in the workshop later, it’s hard to believe it’s the same car.

The welding is done, the bodywork is finished, the paint is on, and now it’s time for the rebuild. 🔧🚗

What started as a good night out in the lanes ended a little differently than planned… 🌙🚗💥

This Mk2 Es**rt arrived with some battle scars after an unfortunate meeting with a few fence posts. Thankfully, the damage wasn’t beyond repair and we’ve got it back in the workshop ready to be brought back to its former glory.

Can’t believe we actually found this tucked away
A genuine Ford Es**rt RS1600i that’s been sitting for years and finally seeing daylight again.
Dusty, rusty, rough round the edges… but still an absolute icon.
These old hot hatches just have so much character.
Can already picture it cleaned up and back on the road where it belongs
Definitely one of the coolest barn finds we’ve dragged home.

Another big milestone reached on the Mini restoration at Foundry Autos 🔥

The shell is now in primer and starting to really take shape. Countless hours of fabrication, prep work and attention to detail are finally coming together.

Still plenty left to do, but seeing it all in one colour makes the hard work worth it 👌
