A small alteration project taking part of the garage and turning this into a wet room with walk in shower underfloor heating and changing area for client, with various aids to make self living easier. Also a new front door with level access and a easy turn locking system. A 5 bedroom New build property in Abingdon, with 4 double bedrooms 2 en-suite, a large family bathroom, large kitchen dining area, lounge, music room, utility, and a snug room, all finished to a exceptional standard. a small single story summer room extension in a conservation area with Solid oak flooring bi-fold doors a large roof light and a balcony area above for a client who we have continued to produce work for over the last15 years. we are able to provide various references from are clients.

What we are looking for:
Skill Set: Strong experience in groundworks is essential along with a solid background in general building.
Independence: Someone capable of running projects on-site independently while also being a collaborative team player.
Reliability: candidate must be able to get themselves and tools to site. Opportunity for company van in the future.
The Role:
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (08:00 – 16:30).
Flexibility: We are open to both Employed (PAYE) or Self-Employed (CIS) arrangements to suit the right candidate.
Location: Projects are based in and around the Swindon area. Most projects are within 20minutes of Swindon.

Another shocker, Doormer in Swindon old town built in breech of planning permission. All been signed off by private building control. 4years ago.
The list of problems we have exposed so far.
Poor ridge steel installation. Dubious gallows brackets holding up chimney.
Inadequate roof insulation (what insulation that is there very poorly installed)
No roof ventilation
Can see daylight through the stud work.
Water ingress on various points of roof and walls.
No fire corridor.
Shower tray not stuck down or sealed around.
I am sure there will be more next week.😳
We will be rebuilding in line with latest planning permission and making sure this loft room is all up to current building regulations, we will be working with local building control to get the best possible outcome for our client.

Sorted the leak behind existing shower, new show tray with frosted glass screen.
New shower fixture and fittings, tiles to bath and around new toilet with concealed cistern, and behind sink.
New flooring with a LVT flooring from tile flair. Ready for the client to paint.
