🏎️ Simon Drury is racing with team N J Drury Limited in the Construction Cup Go Karting Competition at Raceworld Karting, Exeter, all to raise funds for Hospiscare in Exeter – an incredible charity offering end-of-life support ❤️🏥

So far, N J Drury has raised an incredible £4,815! 🎉👏

N J Drury limited so far has completed 3 out of 4 racing events and come 1st in all 3! With one more event to go before the finals (where will will race the best of the other groups) we have already qualified for the final.

Go-Kart Charity Event – Round 2 Victory!

Another night, another 1st place finish!

After setting the pace with a win in Round 1, we kept the momentum going in round 2 despite a surprise twist—qualifying P1 but starting 13th due to a quiz-based grid shuffle! It made the race even more exciting and memorable.

All of this is in support of Hospiscare Exeter, helping provide end-of-life care to those who need it most. So far, we’ve collectively raised over £10,000, with £720 coming from our team alone!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who’s supported us—your generosity is making a real difference.

Hey everyone,

I’m raising funds for a small but incredible charity in Exeter that provides compassionate end-of-life care and ongoing support for families after their loved ones have passed. Their work makes a huge difference to those facing the hardest times, and I’d love your support in helping them continue their vital care.

We’ve had a great start on track, winning Round 1 with a 3-lap lead over 2nd place! Now, we’re pushing just as hard off the track to raise as much as possible for this amazing cause. 🏡 Britain’s Mouldy Homes – What’s the Solution? 🏡
After watching BBC Panorama: Britain’s Mouldy Homes last night, it’s disappointing that more solutions and methodologies weren’t highlighted to help tackle the issue. While ventilation is a key factor, many people simply don’t know where to start.

💡 A Simple First Step? Background Ventilation Testing.
This helps determine if a property—and individual rooms—have enough air changes per hour (AC/h). Damp and condensation don’t just appear overnight—something changes in the property. It’s often due to:

❌ Lack of maintenance
🏡 Property upgrades (e.g., new insulation, windows & doors) increasing airtightness without upgrading ventilation
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Changes in occupancy & human behaviour

We work with estate agents & landlords to find the root cause of ventilation issues and help reduce damp & mould problems. A background ventilation test ensures a property meets minimum AC/h and has correctly installed mechanical extraction in wet rooms.
