Busy week. Heating upgrade. Baxi Bermuda back boiler, cylinder and tanks out. Worcester 4000 series 30 Combi boiler in.
The old boiler’s combustion casing had corroded, making the appliance immediately dangerous.
Had to temporarily connect to the hot water pipe work using an old school lead wipe joint method. The lead hot and cold pipes will be coming out in the next few weeks and replaced with copper.
Boiler comes with 10 year warranty.

The filter has been fitted in the airing cupboard on this job.

10th service for this Worcester 24i Junior I fitted. It’s had one new expansion vessel and pressure relief valve in that time. Still looks new inside! Just shows that an annual service is vital to the longevity of a boiler.
