We built the Gridfit app ourselves, because we could not find anything on the market that did what we needed.
The latest update goes further than ever. Here is what it now does.
✔️ For administrators, you can view monthly hours, shift counts, and daily worker numbers across every active site at a glance. Clients receive their own login to track project completion as a percentage, updated daily, so there are no surprises about where their job stands.
✔️ Electronic Risk Assessment Method Statements have replaced paper copies entirely. Every worker signs on digitally, and the records are stored and searchable.
✔️ The system captures daily plant inspection sheets, full delivery logs with photos showing what came in, what went out, and when, as well as a site photo record that documents progress from ground-break to handover.
✔️ Workers check in and out with a timestamped photo and a GPS location record. Every hour is logged and verifiable.
✔️ All personnel credentials are stored in the app too: CSCS cards, qualifications, plant tickets, manual handling certification, and emergency contact details.
✔️ Each client gets their own portal. When the project completes, the record is theirs.
Not many contractors in this sector operate at this level of traceability. We do, and it is something our clients consistently tell us they value.
