Ian Duffield of Duffield Contracting in Brackley, Northamptonshire, was called out because these kitchen lights wouldn't switch off after the kitchen fitters had replaced them.

''The customer said it must be the switch! I took the lights down and found live connections in tape, and the switch wires not connected and safely buried in the ceiling.''

He resolved this with wago connectors.

AMC Carpenters & Builders Ltd are currently offering a Carpentry apprenticeship.
You must be self motivated, willing to learn, and be able to follow instruction. You must be able to travel to sites around the Medway and Maidstone areas to specified times.
You will be enrolled in college to gain your qualifications. You will become skilled through experience in cut and pitch roofing, 1st fix carpentry, 2nd fix carpentry, kitchen fitting and floor laying. Working to the highest standards in domestic extensions, loft conversions and garage conversions.
