Back to have a look at this one i completed in the summer.

All the 2nd fix plumbing now completed in here.

12mm solid marble stone wet room, 100% floor space UF heating. Tiled skirts. Mitred and resin shower seat and niche.

All done and onto the next.

12mm solid marble stone.

Piped underfloor heating, cement boarded, ditra matting, SL screeded and tiled.

Cuts out for cupboard storage and front door rug/matt.

Back to grout this up once the plasterers have finished.

Start to finish 12mm solid Marble stone floor. Completed ready for grouting in Bramhall Stockport.

Started new bathroom Monday.

1st full rip out and full refit, all the plumbing, plastering and tiling done by me. Plastering over old artex ceiling.

My mate Paul for the electrics which was completed 1st fix today.

This one is going to have P shaped bath, new toilet, sink and rad. 3 way control for the water feed for the rainforest shower, hand held and tapless bath, UF electric heating system with exterior thermostat, floating sink cabinet LED lit, LED lit PIR sensor wall hung cabinet above, tiles are 600 x 300 grey porcelain & the same size in bone colour with horizontal mosaic border, all mitred and resin edged.

Few snags at the rip out shower valve being too big and the cistern being broke in transit but making a move with this now. Tiling next week after the 1st fix plumbing completed.

How we started.

Presented with a problem, leaks, dated shower enclosure, bad plumbing, old plumbing, lathe and plaster walls etc etc.

To how I left it: new tiles, new shower, new taps, new enclosure, no leaks and handed back to the customer 👌👍.

I post the positive reviews now for the negative.

Payments terms have always been 50% upfront and the rest on completion. I shouldn't have to explain the reasoning behind a deposit but here we are. 50% reserved the date in the diary, buys the materials and is protection for the business. It's a purchase: you pay a deposit buying a car, a house, you would pay a deposit if you booked a table at a restaurant nowadays etc etc.

The job was 5 sqm of floor tiling which I can do in my sleep. Therefore will the plans sent, the design discussed over the phone and the offer of helping with the purchasing of the tiles as discount a visit was deemed unnecessary.

Customer didn't want to pay 50% and sent me 25%. This was returned to the customer the same day and other booking from customers agreeing to the payment terms were booked in. These take priority. The exact same as when you buy a house, a car or book a table at a restaurant. 1st come 1st served. I cannot as a business change payment terms in any condition or situation. Nor would you expect as a customer to change the payment conditions to a mortgage broker, car finance company or a restaurant.

Paying customers always take priority over non paying customers. I don't offer finance as a business and I don't accept credit cards. However if the payment of 50% is unaffordable then I could of looked at booking it in when it was affordable. Or go with another business who accept 25% deposits.

Alternative dates were offered and declined.

From experience if there's money issues at the start before the job begins or even booked in then the there will be money issues at the end. Changing payment terms at the beginning opens the business up to negotiation of payment terms at the end.

House finished in Sandbach.

4 x rooms: bathroom, hallway, kitchen and dining room.

Porcelain wood effect tile. Finished with cedar and light oak grouts. Sealed clear, white and oak.

Preparation for job consisting of micro screens.amd durabase anti fracture matting. All tiles scribed out for toilet/sink and door casings.

Internal doors planed to finish floor level.

Redrow house over at Lingley mere Warrington.

Previously completed 3 bathrooms in this house and invited back to do the kitchen splashback.

Tiles: 1.5m x 600 gloss marble effect, porcelanosa tile. Mitred window reveal edge finalised with colour match resin and white sealant. Grey toners used to match up the marbling.
