South Staffordshire Council is launching a new pilot scheme aimed at improving the health of vulnerable residents in our community, by helping residents across the district to heat their homes for less, using greener and more energy-efficient solutions, all for FREE.

You could be eligible if you suffer from:
- A cardiovascular health condition
- A respiratory health condition
- Limited mobility
- Immunosuppression

This is a partnership scheme with Staffordshire County Council, Community Home Solutions, Optum health analysts from Staffordshire Integrated Care Board, and Russell House, located in the Codsall Community Hub.

Position: Permanent (Subcontractor or Employed)

Pinewood Energy Services is seeking a skilled and dedicated Heat Pump Fitter to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of heat pumps, contributing to their commitment to sustainable energy solutions.

Key Requirements:
Experience in heat pump installation and maintenance (Hold the Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Air Heat Pump Systems)
Ideally hold a Gas certificate (preferred)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary:
£35k - £45k per annum (depending on experience)

A Family run business since 2016. We specialise in renewable technologies such as Air source heat pumps, solar and battery storage. We also offer Air conditioning and your standard plumbing, heating and electrical services.
We are BUS grant approved and can offer £7500 towards your heat pump installation meaning in most cases upgrading to an ASHP will be the same cost if not less than a standard boiler change.
We also have access to Eco4 funding through our partners at Community Home Solutions which could mean Solar, ASHP and insulation fully funded for your property.
