Been carrying out storm damage all week and more to do. Had to prioritise jobs and be flexible to the clients. Once we catch up we will carry on with regular repairs, gutter cleans, inspection and surveys. Is coming and according to social media its the end of the World. Hopefully its like the usual storms and passes with minimum disruption, damage and danger to life.

Carried out repairs again using Rope Access. A property in the City Centre was having water egress issues. After a detailed inspection it was observed that the mastic was not applied correctly. This was a new building connected to an old building and this was repaired. Again due to access it was not possible with conventional systems. Apex Rope Access with the assistance if a building maintenance contractor repaired this. Also removed the vegetation in the brick work and re-pionted the damaged areas.

Then removed a tree deeply rooted in a traditional sandstone tenement next to Hamden park. Also removed old wires, redundant antenna etc. complete with a gutter cleans out and full roof surveys.

All work with Apex Rooe Access has detailed photo reports.

Starting 2025 with a bang. Carried out re-pointing of ridge tiles, brickwork pointing, gutter cleans and general building maintenance this week. We specialise in hard access areas reducing cost. Not all areas are accessible but they are mostly with Rope Access and cost effective.

Carried out a complete overhaul of a property in Bath Street Glasgow and Bank Street in the West End. Over 2 tonnes of waste removed from the attic and roof. All moss, vegetation, redundant wires, aerials , satellite dishes, and potentially dangerous dropped objects above a busy street. Gutters also cleaned out using rope access. After removal a complete inspection was possible again using Rope Access. Apex Rope Access in conjunction with a roofing contractor will carry out the repairs. This was cost effective and less disruptive to pedestrians, businesses and all carried out safely.

Another busy week again. Called out to a Wind farm to install and inspect rigging for a construction phase at short notice. Again LEEA inspections carried out with fully qualified technicians. Then back to work assisting stone masons and roofers for another Glasgow factor. Rope Access is quick and cost effective. Contact us if you require work on tenements or issues at height. Busy week just had and more to come. Apex Rope Access provided lifting gear inspections and changing rigging out on a wind farm in South West Scotland. We have LEEA qualified inspectors if required. We carried out rope access to access the certified lifting eyes on the nacelles at height on the turbines. This was to assist on a construction phase. The client requested rope access and we assisted at short notice in these cold conditions. Then carried on with roof repairs on Bath Street Glasgow. Again the client was impressed with the short notice. Please contact you require LOLER inspections and Rope Access.
