☀️ New solar and battery installation completed in Harbury! 🔋

This customer is now benefiting from a complete Sigenergy solar and battery system, designed to help reduce electricity bills, increase energy independence and provide added protection during a power cut.

The system includes:

Another retrofit battery storage installation completed by The Solar People.

This customer already had solar installed, so we retrofitted 2 x 5kWh Enphase batteries, giving them 10kWh of battery storage to make better use of their existing system.

They can now store excess solar generated during the day and also take advantage of cheaper overnight electricity rates, using stored energy later when grid prices are higher.

The Enphase IQ Battery 5P is a great option for retrofit installs as it is AC-coupled, making it well suited to homes where solar is already in place. Each battery provides 5kWh of usable storage and a charge/discharge rate of 3.2kW, helping homeowners reduce reliance on the grid and get more value from the energy they generate.

Another Sigenergy install complete, with a custom black Gateway ⚫⚡

This customer specifically wanted their Sigenergy Gateway finished in black, so it matched the property's look and blended better with the surroundings.

Sigenergy currently only manufactures the Gateway in white, but that was not the finish the customer wanted for their home.

So, we went the extra mile.

We had the Gateway professionally custom finished in black, giving the installation a smarter, cleaner and more discreet look while still retaining the system's full functionality.

As far as we are aware, this could be the first black Sigenergy Gateway in the world. 🌍

Most importantly, the custom finish was carried out correctly and does not invalidate any warranties.

The system also included:

Another retrofit battery storage system completed by The Solar People ✔️

This customer already had solar panels installed, but no battery storage. Meaning all of their unused solar energy was being sent back to the grid. They were then buying energy back for the grid in the evening and at night.

We installed a SigenStor system, including:
