to one of our most unusual builds — The Folly, Cranbrook. 🌀

Built alongside designers WGP Architects to one of the most technically complex briefs we've ever received — a logarithmic spiral of fractal triangles in anodised aluminium and multi-ply timber. Part lookout, part retreat, part entertaining pavilion. A task that took pure precision was, delivered by our Astral team.

Sustainability isn't just for new builds. 🌱

At Caspian House, Maidstone — a full care home refurbishment — we integrated de-carbonisation technologies, solar panels, upgraded thermal insulation, and replaced all windows with double glazing as part of a wider drive to make the building greener and more efficient.

16 new bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, office, and meeting spaces. And a significantly reduced carbon footprint.

This stunning property in Minster on Sea — designed by JDRM Architects, and delivered by Astral Ltd.

Complete demolition of the existing house, asbestos clearance, and construction of a high-performance replacement achieving SAP Energy Rating Band B on completion.

Fully electric and fossil-fuel-free, the home is heated entirely by an air source heat pump with zoned wet underfloor heating throughout. Outside, a striking standing seam zinc roof sits above open rainscreen larch cladding, while inside, Farrow & Ball decoration, bespoke joinery, and engineered timber floors complete the finish.

A brilliant effort from our office manager Karen on Saturday! 🐾
Karen spent 10am to 4pm at Tesco Sheerness collecting for our charity partner Santerpaws Bulgarian Rescue — and raised a fantastic £84.82.

Although she was on her own this time, she did have one very dedicated companion — a highly realistic plush doberman who took his role extremely seriously and fooled more than a few shoppers into a double take. 😄

At Astral Ltd we're proud to support the incredible work Santerpaws do rescuing and rehoming dogs from Bulgaria. Well done Karen — and her very dedicated assistant!

Planting is underway at Canterbury Road Primary School! 🌱

The plants arrived on site last week and the team have been putting their green fingers to good use getting everything in the ground. Fortunately the weather has been on their side — not a bad way to spend a few days on site.

We might just make gardeners of them yet. 😄

The outdoor learning space is really starting to come to life now — we can't wait to share the finished result.
