According to the United Nations, ingestion of plastic kills an estimated 1 million birds and 100,000 animals each year.
Additionally, more than 90% of all birds and fish are believed to have plastic particles in their stomach.
Research from Plymouth University has found that close to 700 are facing extinction due to the increase of plastic pollution.

Did you know that Collins Dictionary named 'single-use' as word of the year in 2018! This term reflects on products that are made with plastic which can be used only once and have to then be thrown away only to have a negative impact on our environment. Ironic that we can't use the word 'single-use' only once. Sadly it has become the pain of our world.
