Before and After Photos of a recent Garage Conversion into a Utility/Home Gym 🏡

This particular client wanted to convert his garage but he lives in a conservation area that restricts aesthetic changes to the front of the property. As a solution to this, we rebuilt the existing single metal framed garage door into two barn style doors that preserved the aesthetic of the neighbourhood. We are very proud of the finished product. We also did the exact same thing for the next door neighbour as they loved the look.

After this we converted the garage to a habitable living space by internally erecting and insulating stud walls to the entire internal perimeter. We built cupboards and access panels to hide the gas mains, boiler and consumer unit, and built an internal wall 1m in from the new barn doors to house the clients bikes.

After this we plasterboarded, plastered, installed 3 doors, Lvt flooring throughout and finally installed skirting and architrave.

The end result has completely transformed this previously unused space into a extension of their home.
