This is another one of our larger projects completed earlier this year.

We were tasked with transforming an old, tired farmhouse, bringing it up to modern standards both internally and externally, in terms of design and insulation. The project included the installation of a full underfloor heating system, 3 bathrooms, and 5 bedrooms.

We thoroughly enjoyed this one, as the client entrusted us with a full turnkey solution. As part of the finish, we installed bamboo flooring throughout and coordinated our painting contractor to complete the final touches.

With a strict deadline to meet, the property needed to be ready for April so the client could move back in for lambing season, and we’re proud to say we delivered on time.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Bridgewater Development Ltd for their hard work and dedication on this project. It’s this level of care and passion, from the first digger bucket to the final paint stroke, that allows us to hand over every project with pride.

If you have a project you’d like to discuss, feel free to get in touch.

We’ve been a little quiet on social media recently while completing some of our larger projects, so we thought we’d share one of our smaller ones.

On this project we instructed our preferred Architect Mark Carroll from MVC Design Ltd to obtain planning permission to demolish an old conservatory and replace it with this rear extension.

As part of the build we completed three knock throughs while the customer continued living in the house:
• Opening up the kitchen
• Opening the dining room into the new garden room
• Opening up the bedroom to create a walk-in dressing room and en-suite, with access out to the rear garden

While we were there we also re-roofed the rear of the property, installed new fascias and soffits, fitted a fire door between the kitchen and the garage, and built a stud wall to house sliding pocket doors to separate the lounge from the kitchen.

The entire project was completed in just eight weeks, including the Christmas period.

One thing we pride ourselves on is the quality of our work, but a very close second is our timescales. As much as our customers are often sad to see the lads go, we always aim to be in and out as efficiently as possible to minimise disruption. Once your project starts, we don’t miss a single working day on your home, and we have plenty of references to prove it.

If you’re thinking about starting a project, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
