Unexpected discoveries are all part of groundworks and foundation excavation. During this project, we uncovered what we initially believed to be all the incoming mains — only to then discover the roads main sewer pipe running directly through the excavation area.

Work was stopped immediately while we contacted Wessex Water to ensure everything was handled correctly and safely. Their team were excellent throughout the process, quickly approving the build-over agreement and providing clear instructions on how to safely shutter and protect the existing sewer line without causing damage.

Despite the challenges, our team pushed through the hard work, completed the foundation excavation safely, and delivered fully prepared foundations ready for the build-over works to begin.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our colleague, Lee.

Our deepest condolences go to Lee’s lovely family.

Lee was an integral part of our company, bringing knowledge, enthusiasm, reliability and drive to the workplace every day.
He was an exceptional digger operator whose skill, experience and professionalism earned the respect of everyone who worked alongside him. His strength, determination and unwavering work ethic were admired by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was often the first to arrive at work and the last to leave, showing a level of dedication and commitment that was second to none. Lee was also a very proud man who took great pride in his work and appearance, always wanting to do the very best he could.
Above all, Lee was an incredibly kind person, always willing to help others, offer support and brighten someone’s day with his warmth and humour. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Lee; no matter the situation, he was always there to lend a hand and do whatever he could to help.

He will be remembered not only for his dedication and resilience, but for the genuine care, kindness and positivity he brought to everyone around him.

We will miss your big smile, our chats and your even bigger sense of humour, but most of all, we will miss our friend.

Broadstone Renovation Project Update 👇

We are nearing completion of a home renovation project in Broadstone, Dorset.

This project has involved a full property transformation, and we are pleased to see the build coming together successfully. Our client has now moved back into their home while the final stage of works is completed.

The external renovation works are almost finished, just in time for summer, bringing the project to a close.
