Published in Nature Nanotechnology in 2010 (Souza et al., DOI: 10.1038/nnano.2010.23), this innovation by Glauco Souza, inventor or co-inventor of all 11 patents in the field, introduced a simple but powerful principle: magnetize cells, let them levitate, and allow them to build their own extracellular matrix - no scaffolds, no animal-derived materials.
