Attended to a couple of breakdowns to get our clients boilers up and running in this cold weather.

It's important to have your boiler serviced every years to prevent them giving up when you need them most. Blocked PRV's, knackered electrodes and even a faulty gas valve.

Went out this week to repair this ASHP.

They had no heating or hot water.

It seems the unit had not been serviced in a while and just needed some TLC. Once we serviced the unit, we refilled the ASHP and got it back up and running.

Heating and hot water restored 😊

Just finished this lovely Oakleaf Handale 5 multifuel stove installation.

The old fireplace had been completely removed, bricked up, rendered, and plaster boarded over.

The chimney stack was still in place, so we managed to open up the wall again, widen the opening and install a new granite hearth.

The client also had a lovely old oak beam we installed as a mantlepiece.

Decking and grass showing temperatures as low as -16c even though the air temperature is -1c.

Pretty much the whole outside wall is at a minimum -9c, except the chimney where it gets as high as a toasty 6.9c

400c inside the stove 😄

Another recently installed wood burner by AA Plumbing, replacing an old unbranded Chinese stove.

The upgrade included fitting a flexible flue liner, fully insulating the chimney and installing a Hunter Herald 5 Slimline Eco stove with a direct air kit.
