Fantastic first day of our Peak Cavern Give-it-a-go sessions! We had a big group today, and another due for tomorrow. Don't worry if you missed out on these, we'll be running novice trips for whoever wants them, mostly in the evenings after university. This weekend members of SUSS attended the Wharfedale 3 peaks challenge to help raise money for Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association (UWFRA). Here is a photo of all who took part, most walked all three and there were even a couple of runners too!

Last night was our women’s trip which saw six new cavers tackle their first trip underground as part of the campaign. Women do incredible things in caving and our leaders and members are no exception. The trip was blast and we’re very grateful to our friend Lydia from Nottingham Uni Caving Club for coming along and taking some pics for us!
