Last few little bits of this school fire escape finished off today. Designed and drawn up by ourselves, signed off by the engineer and then straight into fabrication. A complex structure that had to cantilever over the roof, drop legs are for deflection only, the load of the staircase couldn’t rest on the roof. Big push to get this done before the end of the summer holidays, but we made it happen 💪🏻

So a few months ago we installed several tons of steel inside this Dutch barn conversion and on Friday we were back to install the finishing piece of this stunning house. Some industrial style stairs with and a railing section to match the curved gable end. Not very often you see any of our steel when a project is finish but so much of the steel has been left exposed on this property (swipe to last photo) and I’m here for it, looks incredible 👌🏻
