If your reed diffuser isn’t smelling as strong as it used to… here are some simple ways to bring it back to life

✨ Flip the reeds Do this as little or as often as you like. Just remember, the more you flip, the faster the oil will be used up.

✨ Adjust your reeds for the right strength More reeds = stronger fragrance throw (but it won’t last as long) Fewer reeds = softer fragrance (but your oil lasts longer)

✨ Move it to the right spot Heat and airflow (but not draughty - it will just carry the fragrance away) help diffuse fragrance, so try placing it somewhere warm with a bit of circulation.

✨ Replace old reeds Over time, reeds can clog and become less effective. Swapping them out will help restore a stronger fragrance.

✨ Reeds are designed to absorb, so if you place these in a steamy bathroom they will absorb the moisture.

Hi 👋

It’s been a little quiet over here… but not for the reasons you might think.

Truth is — when I started Embers & Roots, I didn’t expect it to grow the way it has.
So a lot of the decisions I made were for short-term ease… not long-term scale.

And now I’m rebuilding it properly.

Behind the scenes lately has looked like:
– Testing label suppliers (more times than I’d like to admit 😅)
– New packaging (finally!)
– Sampling a new candle size
– And working on 3 new fragrances I cannot wait for you to smell

It’s not the pretty side of running a business — but it is the part that builds something that lasts.

So even though I’ve been quiet, I’ve been laying the foundations for what’s next 🤍

Thank you for being here while I figure it all out.

Wellies on. World off. 🌿

There’s something about pulling on your wellies and stepping outside that just resets everything.

I didn’t make big resolutions this year. I made small ones. Getting outdoors even for just 10 minutes a day was one of them.

It’s such a small movement with unmatched reward. 💭
