Due to an increase in workload D B Gibbons are looking for staff in both their agricultural contracting and construction divisions.

_Contractors_
D B Gibbons Contractors Ltd carry out the full range of agricultural operations including, but not limited to, slurry handling, cultivation, silaging, combining, hedge trimming and snow clearance.

We are looking for people experienced and skilled in operating a full range of agricultural machinery.
Some basic mechanical knowledge for in the field repairs would be advantageous.
Frequently long hours including weekend working especially in the summer months.

_Construction_
D B Gibbons Construction Ltd are involved in a range of construction activities for both agricultural and industrial clients from individual elements to full package projects. Activities include: excavation to levels, concrete foundations, trenches and pipe laying, laying concrete floors & yards, erecting slurry towers and steel framed buildings.

We are looking for people skilled and experienced in groundworks construction and operating a range of construction plant.
Plant tickets advantageous but not essential if competence can be demonstrated.

Positions are permanent full time with negotiable rates of hourly pay.
Min 45 hour week
Includes 20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays and a contributory pension
Immediate start available with a 3 month probationary period.
Full driving licence is required.

Latest Permastore erected by Gibbons in the Shepton Mallet area. 2,700 mcube capacity 29.7m diameter. Currently standing at 3 rings high (4.23m) high but built to be extendable to accommodate further rings and a roof if required. This store has a manway fitted for easy ground level access and will have an aerobic bubbler system fitted to the reinforced concrete floor.
