It's been a busy May so far. We've had an old Talbot Camper that we had to remove the head to extract the glow plugs using the milling machine. Plenty of glow plugs, broken bolts and injectors extracted on site, Mercedes v6 oil cooler seals along with everything else in the garage ranging from services and turbos to gearboxes.

We've had a busy Feb and start to March, covered a few thousands miles all over the country. Plenty of injectors and glow plugs have been extracted, some thread repairs and broken bolts. The workshop has been very busy with lots of mechanical jobs on, going from timing chains to clutches and getting roped in to fix trucks.

We've also had the EDM machine on site for a trial on removing some bolts for a local factory, this roller was out the machine to prove if it would work. And then we will need to make a jig to do it in situe.

We've had a busy January. We have came across a few jobs where people have attempted to remove the broken glow plugs themselves, with Allen keys,stud extractors, torx bits and a self tapper broken in it, which makes the job more challenging.

A busy start to the year. We've had a good sort out in the workshop, the floors have been re-done and walls painted. We've also been busy travelling the County removing injectors and glow plugs.

MECHANIC REQUIRED

FULL / PART TIME, employed or self-employed qualified mechanic to join the team in our busy workshop. Hours would be Monday - Thursday, 8am - 6pm

Roles would include :

- Routine servicing & repairs on a wide range of cars / vans
- Carry out diagnostic work
- Working along side other members of the team in a busy environment
- MOT tester would be an advantage but training can be provided

Salary depending on experience

We've had a very busy few weeks with extractions, covering over 1500 miles around the country helping garages and private customers out. There have been a few jobs that have had broken drill bits stuck in studs, stud extractors broken in glow plugs, even one welded by the customer in an attempt to remove it. However we still managed to get them all removed.
