Er****on of the structural steelwork for the new Wales High School in Sheffield is progressing well.

Billington Structures is delivering the fabrication and er****on of a three-storey braced structural steel frame, forming the primary superstructure of the new school building.

Working alongside main contractor BAM Construction, the project forms part of the Department for Educationโ€™s School Rebuilding Programme and will provide a new, energy-efficient school designed to meet net-zero operational standards.

Another great example of Billington Structuresโ€™ continued work across the education sector.

The Academy represents an important investment in our people and the future of Billington, while helping us play our part in addressing the skills gap across the structural steelwork sector.

Delivered in partnership with Betterweld, this initiative strengthens our commitment to developing industry-leading skills and supporting the next generation of steelwork professionals.

Each year, weโ€™ll give a new group the opportunity to learn a highly skilled trade, gain meaningful training and build a long-term career within our industry.

City House, Leeds City Square remains one of our standout projects from 2023.

Located in one of the city's busiest and most prominent locations, the project required careful planning, coordinated logistics and precision engineering to deliver structural steelwork on a constrained, high-profile site.
