Making safe and preserving the oldest remaining petrol station in the UK!

Operating since 1919, Glendore Garage in Turnastone has been serving fuel ‘over the garden wall’ until the passing of long time friend Mr Wilding. A firm favourite amongst Petrolheads and vintage car fans who made it a destination point, a place to drop in to fuel up, buy sweets and have chat.

We have serviced the site for over 30 years and it will now become a heritage site for future generations to admire.

It’s a pleasure to have been trusted in the decommissioning and preservation of this site, some may say a coincidence, with our Director Laurence, arguable being the oldest working Petroleum Engineer in the country.
