Another successful job completed by our team working on the Stanhope Road, Parkland Walk Railway Bridge removal project.
With extensive planning, collaborative working and liaising with the local authority and the neighbourhood committee, to ensure the removal of the bridge, inclusive of abutments and groundworks were carried out safely utilizing 60t crane and 20t excavators all within the tight constraints of a main road closure in a central London location.
Our site team operated within strict parameters and hours to maintain safe access and egress of the local Primary school including protection of the surrounding flora and fauna of the Capitalβs longest nature reserve. Due to the close proximity of properties and services, monitoring of vibration and noise was carried out to reduce the impact in the immediate vicinity whilst maintaining the safe route of one of the areaβs favourite trails.
As always, B&B worked closely with local suppliers of goods and services to positively impact the local economy.
Huge thanks to the team on the ground, who worked hard to deliver the project safely.
