We recently completed a comprehensive landscaping and outdoor improvement project for a local nursery, delivering a practical, safe, and visually appealing outdoor space designed to stand up to daily use.

Scope of works included:

✨ HAPPY NEW YEAR! ✨

2025 was a fantastic year for us. Although we’ve been a little quieter on social media, behind the scenes we’ve been expanding as a business / Family and focusing on keeping all sites and operations running smoothly and to the highest standards.

A huge thank you to all of our customers, friends, and contractors for the continued support throughout 2025, it truly means a lot.

As we head into 2026, we have some exciting large-scale projects underway and Growing as Family and preparing for arrival of Baby Malone Number 2 due in April 2026 🩵 👶🏼

⚡️Electrical Room Foundation Formwork⚡️

Our construction company was engaged by the main contractor to complete the formwork foundations for the new electrical room, which will distribute power across the 16,000 m² agricultural farm development.

The works involved the er****on and formation of precision timber formwork to create the reinforced concrete base structure for the electrical room. This included:

• Setting out the foundation to exact dimensions as per design drawings.

• Fabricating and assembling timber panels and bracing to ensure structural integrity during the concrete pour.

• Incorporating formwork openings for incoming and outgoing service ducts.

• Ensuring accurate alignment and level for a clean and precise concrete finish.

Benefits of Timber Formwork for This Scope:

✅ Cost-effective – Timber is an economical material for small-to-medium scale, custom foundation works.

✅ Ease of adaptation – Timber can be quickly cut and adjusted on-site to accommodate changes or service openings.

1. Preparation - All formwork and steel rebar ✅
2. 3x Bays - 6m x 30m (Approx 30/32 cube) ✅
3. Last day poured - 12 x 6m bay ✅

🚦Brushed concrete is a great choice for high-traffic areas due to its durability, slip resistance, and low maintenance requirements.

💦 The textured surface created by brushing provides excellent traction, reducing the risk of slips and falls, even in wet conditions.

🚜 This makes it ideal for driveways, walkways, patios, Agricultural sites and other areas that experience a lot of foot or vehicle traffic

💦 SWIMMING POOL 💦

This was an amazing project, and finally able to post this one ✅

🤩 Using the stunning bespoke Lava beige porcelain with bullnose step and riser🤩

• Laying slabs around a swimming pool, often involves creating a safe and visually appealing area using paving slabs🏡

• This process includes preparing the ground, laying a sub-base, creating a mortar bed, placing the slabs, and finally, finishing with pointing 🏊

• The choice of slabs depends on factors like safety (slip resistance), aesthetics, and durability🏡

This Involves preparation -

✅Marking & excavation
✅ Sub base installation
✅ Compaction
✅ Mortar Bed, mapping and string lines
✅ Slab Placement: Paving slabs are carefully placed onto the mortar bed, ensuring proper spacing and alignment
✅ Each slab is gently tamped down to ensure good contact with the mortar and to achieve a level surface

Absolutely amazing project and another post to follow with polished concrete floor for the outdoor kitchen 😱
