Any of you rally boys ever heard of a ford gt70 ? I know i hadn’t until these parts needed making for one . Apparently only 3 left in the world !! Swipe through the photos to read about it . Was a pleasure to make this header tank and radiator for such a rare unheard of car

Been a bit slow with the socials recently . A mk2 es**rt that came in with damage and would you believe …rot . Stripped the front end and replaced all the panels . Fixing any rust along the way . new arches and spoiler and a passenger door skin . There was also a hell of a lot of filler in the old panels . All door gaps and bonnet gaps looking great . Ready for more rallying !

A batch of dry sump oil tanks fabricated a few weeks ago for to fit a triumph tr7 v8 . Made to exact dimension of an original works tank . Im sure alot of you guys know whose cars these are for ! for any fabrication / welding needs at all don’t hesitate to get in touch !

A rather large aluminium radiator we made a few weeks back now For a mk2 es**rt with a duratec engine . The customer is planning on giving the car aircon . The radiator also has a detachable fan mounting plate which houses 2x 11” spal fans . Then pressure tested after completion.

LUKESPEED SECURITY!!! This week we made a steel window guard and a security bar for finished in black coating and we also went and fitted . If you know anyone who wants anything similar don’t be afraid to get in touch !

Just the pickup and return tubes to fabricate . Then time to weld these dry sump tanks up . They are rather large !

One of this weeks projects . A saab 96 rally car baffled fuel tank with spare wheel clearance , a period smiths fuel sender and -6 fuel pickups routing to the middle of the tank as per drawing . Finished off with some lovely formed ends and swages for strength .dont hesitate to get in touch for any fabrication / welding needs.
