Another quality flooring installation completed by A&J Joinery 👌

This project saw us install over 110m² of luxury vinyl tile in a stunning herringbone pattern at a property in Dunnington, York. The herringbone design adds a timeless, high-end finish while the LVT provides exceptional durability and practicality for everyday living.

A lot of precision goes into a floor like this, from the preparation work right through to the final plank, ensuring a flawless finish throughout the entire property.

We’re delighted with how this one turned out, and more importantly, so is the customer!

Another job wrapped up for the team at AJ Joinery 🔨

We recently revisited one of our loft projects after the decorating was completed to carry out the final finishing touches for the customer. This included fitting the mirror, adding extra hanging rails inside, and installing a new access hatch once the paintwork was finished.

The loft wardrobes are now fully complete and ready to use — a great finishing touch to this transformation.

Another couple of quality transformations completed by A&J Joinery 🔨

First up, a fitted external door completed in Fulford. The old door was extremely tired and suffered from significant water damage, so we replaced it with a brand new fitted external door, finished with a weather seal primer paint to help protect it from the elements and keep it looking great for years to come. 🚪

We also recently completed a full staircase refurbishment in Rawcliffe — removing the old handrail, spindles, and newel posts, replacing them with beautiful solid oak throughout. The staircase now features a brand new Edwardian-style newel post along with matching oak handrails and oak spindles, completely transforming the space while keeping a timeless character. ✨

Another job completed in Huntington, York, where we fitted five pre-finished oak cottage doors, all finished with antique bronze handles to give a warm, classic feel throughout the home.

We also upgraded the hallway with new oak skirting, tying everything together with a clean, natural finish.
