Another solid bit of groundwork completed 👷♂️💪
APC team has recently finished installing and benching a new precast concrete chamber, and these photos show the process from start to finish.
🔹 Preparation StageThe chamber was carefully positioned and supported on concrete blocks to achieve the correct level and alignment. Timber shuttering was then installed around the outside to form the base and ensure a clean, controlled pour.
🔹 Pipe ConnectionsIncoming and outgoing pipework was aligned and set through the chamber walls, making sure everything was correctly positioned before any concrete was placed. Accuracy at this stage is key to avoid issues later on.
🔹 Concrete Base PourOnce everything was set, we poured the concrete base, fully encasing the chamber and creating a solid, durable foundation. The pour was completed and finished to ensure structural integrity and long-term performance.
🔹 Final ResultThe finished base provides a strong, stable platform ready for the next stage of works. Everything is now locked in place, level, and built to last.
