BCM Group Secures US$400 Million Mining Services Contract for Ethiopia’s Tulu Kapi Gold Project.

BCM Group is proud to announce the award of the flagship mining services contract for the Tulu Kapi Gold Project in Ethiopia, a major milestone for both the project and the continued growth of BCM across Africa.
The long-term contract, valued at more than US$400 million over the project's initial nine-year mine life, has been awarded by KEFI Gold and Copper, through its Ethiopian subsidiary, Tulu Kapi Gold Mines Share Company (TKGM).

Civil Infrastructure & Earthworks

BCM helps lay the groundwork for long-term mining success by supporting the critical transition from planning to development. The company also undertakes foundation preparation for processing plants, water storage dams, tailings storage facilities, and associated infrastructure. With extensive experience across West Africa, BCM has constructed more water storage and tailings dams than any other contractor in the region.

Once a deposit is identified, detailed feasibility studies are essential to determine whether a project can be economically developed and achieve bank-ability. From resource estimates and mining methods to infrastructure, operational costs, and environmental considerations, every aspect plays a critical role in attracting investment and financing.

BCM supports this process with practical mine development and operational expertise, helping companies build realistic operational plans and cost structures that strengthen project viability and investor confidence. Through its in-house financial advisory team, BCM also assists project sponsors in advancing projects from preliminary feasibility studies (PFS) to bankable definitive feasibility studies (DFS).

Beyond technical support, BCM advises junior mining companies on raising both debt and equity capital, while also participating in selected opportunities through tailored financing structures that support long-term project development and partnerships.

Exploration
