When part of a cement mill’s roof unexpectedly collapsed, Talos General Construction responded immediately to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment. ⚠️🏗️

Accessing the interior wall of a 25m tall, 6.85m diameter cement silo is a technical challenge — especially in confined space. 🧗‍♂️🏢

Talos Group successfully designed and erected a full Layher All-round scaffolding tower inside the silo after:
• 🧹 Rope access cleaning
• 🧨 Controlled demolition of the base pyramids
• 🧮 Calculations for load distribution
• 🏗️ Safe hoisting of large components with a winch

The tower enabled steel fixing and shotcrete works up to 25m, with all confined space safety measures in place: rescue plans, gas detection, ventilation & full supervision.
