As part of the 5th Annual HARIMA Conference “In a world of Risk, Join the Risk Management Revolution”, the panel discussion “Storm Daniel | Flood Impact in State & Business, Lessons & Strategies” brought together representatives from the insurance, business, and public sectors.

Panelists Stephen Biggane (Deutsche Telekom DeTeAssekuranz Vermittlungsgesellschaft mbH), ANDREAS NIKOLAOU (Generali Hellas), Alexandra Ntinopoulou (INTERAMERICAN), Vassilis Kratsas (FAIR Consulting), and IOANNA-ALEXANDRA SAITIS, Advisor to the Board at Intercomm Foods S.A., contributed to a meaningful exchange on the systemic challenges highlighted by Storm Daniel, and the importance of shifting from reactive responses to proactive investment in risk governance and resilience.

The discussion was moderated by Andreas Papadakis, Director at A. Papadakis Insurance Brokers, and was organized by Hellenic Association of Risk Managers H.A.RI.MA. and supported by CLEON Conferences & Communications

In recent weeks, our team completed certified First Aid training by EKAB, gaining essential skills to respond to emergencies both at work and beyond. Our engineers also participated in Proact’s safety and health program, which covered safe behavior and culture, the use of personal protective equipment, fire protection, electrical safety for non-electrical personnel, safe manual handling, LOTOTO procedures, and the safe use of portable ladders and tools.

Intercomm Foods S.A. participated in the “ESG Standards and Green Financing” event in Larissa, which was co-organized by Enterprise Greece SA and Eurobank, aiming to strengthen sustainable entrepreneurship and accelerate the transition to a green economy. The event took place on March 20th, 2025.
Ms. Aggeliki Prapa, Forester MSc in Sustainable Water Environment Management and Head of Environmental Management at Intercomm Foods S.A., took part in the panel discussion “Sustainable Best Practices in the Industrial Sector,” presenting the company’s actions in the field of sustainability and responsible entrepreneurship, as part of its ongoing path toward a more sustainable future.
