Pleased to announce that BROMEDIR project successfully joined ECREAM, the European Cluster of Research projects for Environmental and Agri-food Monitoring. The network facilitates the sharing of knowledge between mainly photonics-based research projects funded under various EU Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe research and innovation programme and further coordinates joint communication and dissemination activities. Most of the projects are also part of the Photonics21 Public Private Partnership.
Looking forward to an exciting journey with all amazing ECREAM sister projects already active: AE**US project, GRACED, MultiLab, PASSEPARTOUT, PHOTONFOOD, SYMPHONY and many more either close to an end or upcoming new projects of the cluster. ๐ŸŽ‰

๐Ÿ‘‰ Driven by an ambitious vision, AE**US Project is focused on creating an affordable, cutting-edge multi-gas photonic sensor and a cloud-connected, Big Data-driven smart sensing platform.

Specifically, AE**US will:

๐Ÿ”นCapitalise on well-established Silicon (Si) platform, develop low cost and miniaturized, allowing for high integration sensing elements with enhanced performance

๐Ÿ”นLeverage CMOS compatible Germanium on Insulator processes and extend detection range up to ~10 ฮผm

๐Ÿ”นUse wafer level processes to considerable minimize the sensorโ€™s cost and footprint

๐Ÿ”นDemonstrate a system on chip integrated photonic sensor for multiple gases

๐Ÿ”นUse well established embedding PCB technologies to ensure proper thermal management

๐Ÿ”นDevelop and validate Deep learning models that will provide emerging patterns, accurate chemometric analysis and predictions

๐Ÿ”นLeverage IoT testbed and demonstrate supporting IoT services, including air quality visualisation, real time health and safety security alerts, real time commands ex*****on, and gamification

๐Ÿ”นValidate and Demonstrate affordable AE**US multi-gas smart sensing system to TRL7, and propel its comprising technologies beyond the technological โ€˜valley of deathโ€™
