🚀⛽ A fantastic learning experience at Towngas Tai Po Gas Production Plant!

The HKIE MMNC Division and HKUST CBE HKUST CBE recently organized a technical visit to the Towngas Tai Po Gas Production Plant, bringing together engineers and students for an insightful exploration of Hong Kong's energy infrastructure. 🌟🏭

From gas production processes and utility operations to asset management and process safety, participants gained valuable insights into the engineering practices that ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient gas supply for our city. 🔬⚙️🛡️

One of the highlights of the visit was the opportunity to interact with industry professionals and understand how engineering decisions directly contribute to operational reliability and public safety in critical utility facilities. 🤝💡👷‍♂️👷‍♀️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us—we officially broke our online attendance record with over 900 participants tuning in via webinar! 🚀

A special thank you to our expert speaker, Ir Albert Yau, for sharing his 25+ years of invaluable experience. His deep dive into fire safety compliance, practical implementations, and real-world case studies bridging Hong Kong and Australian standards was incredibly insightful.
