Recently, Joyson Electronics and Enpower announced the official establishment of a joint venture to jointly advance the R&D, manufacturing, and market development of solid-state battery products—making a stronger “energy heart” for emerging intelligent agents, including embodied robots.

The joint venture will take the lead in tackling solid-state battery technologies tailored for embodied intelligent agents, delivering an integrated energy system solution that combines cell technology + BMS integration + data services.

It aims to provide outstanding solid-state battery power solutions for global customers and accelerate the transition of high-performance solid-state batteries for embodied intelligent agents from R&D to mass production and commercial deployment.

Joyson Electronics (699.HK) announced financial results for Q1 2026 on April 27. Revenue for the period reached approximately RMB 13.8 billion, profit attributable to shareholders was approximately RMB 400 million, up around 18.1% YoY. Fresh orders reached RMB 27.5 billion, significantly outperforming RMB 15.7 billion in the same period last year.

During the period, the overall gross margin remains relatively stable year-on-year. Net cash generated from operating activities was approximately RMB 910 million, up about 5.5% year-on-year, reflecting continued improvement in operating quality.
