Today, Prof. Edwin Chan and two other faculty, Prof. Ngai To, and moderator, Prof. Benny Zee shared their valuable experience of starting their own company as a scientist. Prof. Chan especially mentioned his journey of building the co-founder team of Rare Power, hoping to give students some insights. Moreover, they interacted with students passionate about using their scientific ideas to make the world a better place, as the faculty motto says, "Learn science to better the world."ð¬
We are also delighted to have Prof. Chunshan Song, Dean of Science CUHK to be with us this "Happy Hour". He encouraged students to "move science out of the lab, into the industry, and into the real world."ð
