♻️ 塑料廢棄的現實挑戰｜循環經濟正在加速轉型

香港的塑料廢棄物問題日益嚴峻。塑料是都市固體廢物的第二大組成部分。2021年，香港每日約棄置2,331噸塑料廢物，佔整體固體廢物約21%。

隨著全球對塑料污染的關注提升，各國正加快收緊環保政策，並逐步推動具法律約束力的制度，如生產者責任延伸（EPR）。未來可回收塑料的回收量將大幅增加，社會需要更高效的處理與轉化平台。

同時，品牌商與製造商也正面臨轉型關鍵：如何回收產品、重新設計價值鏈，並將產品真正納入循環經濟體系，將成為下一階段最大的挑戰。

♻️ The Growing Challenge of Plastic Waste | A Shift Toward Circular Economy

Plastic waste is the second largest component of municipal solid waste in Hong Kong. In 2021, the city disposed of approximately 2,331 tons of plastic waste per day, accounting for around 21% of total MSW.

As global concerns over plastic pollution continue to rise, many countries are tightening environmental regulations and introducing legally binding frameworks such as Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR). In the near future, the volume of collected plastic waste is expected to increase significantly, requiring efficient systems for processing and recovery.

At the same time, manufacturers and brand owners are facing a critical transformation: redefining their value, building take-back systems, and integrating their products into a true circular economy will be one of the biggest challenges ahead.
