Kingpins Amsterdam was a special moment to celebrate the one-year milestone of TENCEL™ Lyocell – HV100 with our growing network of mill partners and the denim community.

We also presented two more denim collections, including a collaboration with world-renowned Japanese denim manufacturer Kaihara Corporation and a collection featuring TENCEL™ Lyocell dtex 2.2 which givies fabrics a drier, stiffer touch reminiscent of linen; adding body and structure without weight.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us, shared ideas, and celebrated this journey with us.

What’s behind the process of TENCEL™ Modal?

TENCEL™ Modal fibers are produced with a molecular marker. This special identification technology ensures the authenticity and traceability of TENCEL™ fibers.

And it starts at the source: the wood used as raw material for all TENCEL™ Modal fibers is sourced from certified or controlled wood sources. The production process matters too. The TENCEL™ Modal production process is based on a highly resource-efficient technology with high recovery rates of chemicals.

That’s traceability and responsibility you can verify – not just claim.

According to the Higg Materials Sustainability Index (MSI), TENCEL™ Modal has a significantly lower environmental impact than generic modal; they are made with at least 50% less carbon emissions and water consumption.*
