Forest Movements in TENCEL™ Micro Modal.

TENCEL™️ Modal X Micro fibers, spun by Textil Carmem, are of botanical origin, sourced from controlled and certified wood sources, and are produced with at least 50% lower carbon emissions and water consumption*, in addition to being 100% biodegradable and compostable.**

*Compared to generic (unbranded) modal. Results are based on LCA standards (ISO 14040/44) and available via Higg MSI (version 3.7).
**Standard TENCEL™ Modal fibers are TÜV AUSTRIA certified as biodegradable in soil, freshwater, and marine environments, and compostable in both home and industrial conditions.

"The next five years are about turning sustainability from a differentiator into a baseline.”

That's the vision Susanne Schwenger, CPO at Marc O'Polo , shared with us – and it's the thread woven through more than four years of partnership between Marc O'Polo and TENCEL™.

Our latest collaboration, the MO’P | TENCEL™ collection, combines Scandinavian simplicity with thoughtful material choices, translating into soft drape, natural comfort, and modern versatility – made with materials traceable back to their natural origin.

Swipe through for our conversation with Susanne – on why TENCEL™ fibers belong in Spring/Summer wardrobes, and the change she wants to see across the industry next.
