Insulated booms and buckets are designed primarily to reduce electrical risks when operators work near energized equipment.

However, insulation cannot prevent falls caused by strong winds, platform movement, shifts in the center of gravity, or loss of balance.

❌ Therefore, aerial operations are strictly prohibited during typhoons.

Operations should not resume immediately after the typhoon has passed.

Both the vehicle and the worksite must be thoroughly inspected, with particular attention to soft or waterlogged ground, contaminated or damaged insulating components, hydraulic system abnormalities, fallen trees, and downed power lines.
