我們欣然宣佈，由比幹生物、InnoHK 病毒與疫苗研究中心 (CVVT)、華大智造及臨床腫瘤學合作夥伴鄺麗雲教授共同合作的 PDOHub™ HK 正式成立！這是亞洲首個整合式類器官精準醫學中心，標誌著精準醫學發展的重要里程碑。
🧬 為何重要？
類器官技術能高度模擬真實器官的結構與功能，為疾病建模、藥物測試及個人化治療提供革命性工具。結合近十年的頂尖科研成果、自動化系統及臨床專業知識，PDOHub 將加速科研成果由實驗室邁向臨床應用，直接惠及患者。

✅腫瘤學： 為合資格癌症患者提供「腫瘤類器官藥物敏感性測試」，涵蓋食道癌、胃癌、大腸癌、三陰性乳癌及肺癌等。
✅傳染病： 結合專利類器官平台與自動化技術，增強香港對抗新發傳染病及應對疫情的能力。

🎉Asia’s First Integrated Organoid-Based Precision Medicine Centre – PDOHub™ HK Launched 🧫
We are excited to announce the establishment of PDOHub™ HK, Asia’s first integrated Organoid-Based Precision Medicine Centre, through a strategic collaboration between BiomOrgan Limited (BiomOrgan), InnoHK Centre for Virology, Vaccinology, and Therapeutics (CVVT), MGI Tech Co., Ltd. (MGI), and clinical oncology partner Professor Dora Kwong from Queen Mary Hospital.
🧬 Why It Matters:
Organoids are advanced 3D cell cultures that mimic real human organs, enabling precise disease modelling, drug testing, and personalised treatment. Powered by nearly a decade of cutting-edge research from the team at The University of Hong Kong, automation, and clinical expertise, PDOHub aims to accelerate the journey from bench to bedside, bringing real benefits to patients.
🔬 Key Focus Areas:
✅Oncology: Providing Tumour Organoid Drug Sensitivity Tests for eligible cancer patients, including esophageal, stomach, colorectal, triple-negative breast, and lung cancers.
✅Infectious Diseases: Combining patented organoid platforms with automation to strengthen Hong Kong’s pandemic preparedness and response capabilities.
Together, we are driving translational research and delivering faster, actionable insights for patients, clinicians, and public health decision-making.
